Altered ACE2 and interferon landscape in the COVID-19 microenvironment correlate with the anti-PD-1 response in solid tumors

Ground zero for the formation process of calamari clots is a loss of the glycocalyx layer, which gets “replaced” layer by layer with the amyloid/hydrogel-like aggregation that coats the endothelial layer in the blood vessels. The microclots contribute and are enclosed in the less dense amyloid matrix.

While reading this paper, I realized that some individuals infected with COVID-19 face a limited chance of survival over a short period, regardless of their age. I observed how, under the banner of “life must go on,” people recklessly expose themselves to reinfection, interacting with others in various environments. This behavior not only endangers their own health but also contributes to the emergence of future virus mutations.
